I have specialist training in audiovisual translation and subtitling, including subtitle segmentation, timing, and reading-speed principles. I work with EZTitles and Pasolo to deliver accurate, well-timed subtitles.
I offer professional MTPE services — reviewing and improving machine-translated content to reach publication quality. I have hands-on experience with MTPE for a range of content types including pharmaceutical and technical texts.
Accurate localization goes beyond word-for-word translation — it means adapting content so it feels natural and appropriate for the target audience. I have experience in terminology management and glossary work using SDL Trados and MultiTerm.
I have a personal passion for literary translation and am currently working on an ongoing project translating a German-language novel into English. I bring the same care and attention to voice and style that I apply to all my work.
